14th IWSSTP International Workshop on SubSecond ThermoPhysics

June 24-26 2025 

The workshop will cover experimental, theoretical, simulation and applied aspects of the thermophysical behaviour of matter in the picosecond to second time regime. It will cover, among others, rapid resistive or inductive heating, pulsed and modulated laser heating, and levitation techniques. Presentations on new experimental techniques in the field of sub-second thermophysics are always welcome. Emphasis will be placed on measurements of thermophysical properties in extreme environments and under conditions near and far from thermodynamic equilibrium.

The workshop will cover the following topics (non-exhaustiv list) in subsecond thermophysics:

• Estimation of thermophysical properties

• Laser flash

• Levitation technics

• Modulated laser heating

• Rapid resistive or inductive heating

• ... and related topics

• November 15, 2024:    Abstract submission opens, Registration opens

• February 28, 2025:    Initial deadline abstract submission
  • New extented deadline abstract submission: March 14 28

• April 15, 2025:          Acceptance of abstracts

• May 30, 2025:             Participation fee due. Close of registrations.

• June 24, 2025:           Workshop opening
• June 26, 2025:           Workshop closing
